As the Full Worm Moon rises in the sky, accompanied by the rare and potent energy of a Blood Moon Eclipse, we gather as women, drumming in unison, awakening the ancient spirits of the land, the trees, and the elements. This is a time of deep transformation, release, and renewal—a moment in the cosmic cycle when the veil thins, and we can hear the whispers of our ancestors in the wind.
The Power of the Blood Moon Eclipse & The Worm Moon
The Worm Moon, named by Indigenous traditions, marks the thawing of the earth and the return of new life. It is a moon of transition, a gateway between the depths of winter and the emergence of spring. This year, it is amplified by the presence of a Total Lunar Eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon, which magnifies its potency.
A Blood Moon signals deep shadow work, karmic cycles coming to completion, and a call for radical transformation. It is a time when our intuition is heightened, emotions surface, and we are invited to shed the old, just as the Earth awakens from her slumber.
For women, this is an especially powerful time to gather in sacred sisterhood, to release, renew, and rise together.
